Forestry Administration Launches Call for Proposals to Support Sustainable Forestry Development in 2025.
The Forestry Administration has announced a public call for funding under the 2025 Annual Program for the Use of Funds for Sustainable Development and Advancement of Forestry, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management has confirmed.
The call is aimed at financing projects that contribute to the protection, improvement, and sustainable use of forest resources in Serbia, excluding the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
The financial support includes forest protection measures against diseases, pests, and fires — including the construction and maintenance of firebreaks — as well as afforestation, and forest care and maintenance activities.
Funds are also allocated for the construction, reconstruction, and rehabilitation of forest roads, supporting both new projects in 2025 and the continuation of projects started in 2024, co-financed by the Forestry Administration.
The program also covers support for the production of forest seeds and planting material.
Eligible applicants include forest and forest land owners and users, legal entities and entrepreneurs engaged in forestry-related projects, as well as registered forest nurseries.
Individuals may apply indirectly, through a legal entity or entrepreneur with a registered nursery, with whom they have a signed agreement.
Applications must be submitted electronically no later than August 25, via email to: konkursi.sume@minpolj.gov.rs.
